Overview

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Higgs TTS (higgstts.app), including the website, online AI voice generator, credit packages, account features, generated-audio library, and related tools we provide.

By accessing or using Higgs TTS, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Higgs TTS. By using the service, you represent that you can legally enter into these Terms and that the account information you provide is accurate and current.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. We may refuse registration, suspend access, or terminate accounts if we believe an account is used for abuse, fraud, unlawful activity, payment misuse, or violations of these Terms.

Our Service

Higgs TTS provides AI-assisted tools for creating speech from text prompts and reference audio. The service may include Text to Speech generation, Voice Cloning, voice controls, prompt guidance, a generated-audio library, downloads, credit purchases, and account management features.

Higgs TTS is an independent hosted product experience that targets the Higgs TTS keyword. It is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by the model provider or the owners of the underlying audio model. We may update, modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, and we do not guarantee that a specific feature, mode, voice option, speed setting, model configuration, or pricing option will remain available permanently.

User Content

User Content means prompts, uploaded reference audio, text, settings, instructions, feedback, support messages, and other materials you submit to Higgs TTS.

You retain any rights you have in your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant Higgs TTS a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, transmit, display, and use the User Content as needed to provide the service, generate speech, deliver outputs, provide support, prevent abuse, enforce these Terms, comply with law, and improve the service where permitted by the Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have all rights, permissions, and legal authority needed to upload, submit, and use your User Content, including any reference audio. Do not upload or submit content that you do not have the right to use.

Generated Outputs

Generated Outputs means speech audio, previews, files, metadata, or other materials generated by the service in response to your User Content.

Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use Generated Outputs for personal or commercial purposes. You are solely responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing, sharing, selling, advertising, or using them in client work.

AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, low quality, audio inconsistent, or unsuitable for your intended purpose. Similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users. We do not guarantee exclusivity, originality, copyrightability, ownership status, non-infringement, accuracy, prompt adherence, or fitness for a particular use. Do not rely on Generated Outputs for legal, medical, financial, employment, housing, insurance, safety-critical, or other high-impact decisions.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Higgs TTS to violate laws, infringe rights, upload materials you cannot use, impersonate another person, misrepresent affiliation, create deceptive endorsements, distribute malware, disrupt infrastructure, scrape the service, reverse engineer protected systems, bypass credit or payment controls, abuse promotions, or attempt unauthorized access.

You also agree not to use the service to create or distribute unlawful, harmful, exploitative, non-consensual, defamatory, harassing, hateful, abusive, fraudulent, or rights-infringing content. The following are expressly prohibited: sexual or pornographic content and other not-safe-for-work (NSFW) material; content that sexualizes or endangers minors; non-consensual voice cloning or impersonation of real people; content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, or harassing; scams, phishing, or malware; and content promoting terrorism, self-harm, or violence.

You may not upload reference audio you do not have the right to use, clone a real identifiable person's voice without explicit consent, imitate protected performances or copyrighted recordings without permission, or present generated audio as a real recording of an event or person when that would mislead listeners.

We may investigate activity, remove content, restrict generations, suspend accounts, or terminate access if we believe these rules have been violated or if continued access creates legal, security, payment, or platform risk.

Credits, Billing, and Payments

Some features require credits or paid access. By purchasing credits or paid services, you authorize us and our payment providers to charge the displayed amount, including applicable taxes, fees, and currency conversion charges.

Credits are digital goods used for AI voice generation and related operations. New accounts receive 3 free signup credits. Credits have no cash value, are not a bank account or currency, are not transferable unless we expressly allow it, and may be consumed when a generation task is initiated, processed, completed, or otherwise counted under the rules shown in the product interface.

Credit cost may vary by text length, generation mode, and model configuration. Promotional, bonus, referral, trial, or complimentary credits may have separate limits. We may change pricing, credit packages, free-credit amounts, and generation costs at any time. Changes will not retroactively reduce paid credits already purchased unless required by law or necessary to prevent abuse or fraud.

Refunds

Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy. Because Higgs TTS sells digital credit packages and AI generation services, purchases are generally non-refundable once credits have been used. You may be eligible for review if you request a refund within the stated refund window and none of the paid credits from that purchase have been used, or if there is a verified duplicate charge, failed credit delivery, or billing error.

Third-Party Services

Higgs TTS may rely on third-party providers for hosting, storage, authentication, payments, analytics, security, email, customer support, and AI generation infrastructure. Third-party systems may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

References to external brands or model names are for descriptive or informational purposes only and do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, authorization, or affiliation unless expressly stated.

Intellectual Property

Higgs TTS and its software, design, branding, logos, website content, interfaces, documentation, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the platform, software, code, infrastructure, interface, brand, domain, trademarks, documentation, templates, or proprietary materials.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, resell, or create derivative works from our platform except as expressly allowed by law or by us in writing.

Commercial Use Responsibility

If you use Generated Outputs for commercial, public, client, advertising, product, editorial, marketplace, or paid purposes, you are responsible for reviewing the output before use.

You should check for trademarks, logos, protected characters, copyrighted works, recognizable people, publicity rights, inaccurate claims, offensive material, misleading endorsements, disclosure requirements for AI-generated content, and platform-specific publishing or advertising rules. We do not provide legal clearance for prompts, reference audio, or Generated Outputs.

Service Availability

We try to keep Higgs TTS available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service. The service may be unavailable, delayed, degraded, or limited due to maintenance, updates, traffic, abuse prevention, security issues, payment issues, provider outages, or events beyond our control.

We are not responsible for lost prompts, lost outputs, delayed generations, unavailable features, temporary loss of access, or inconsistent AI results except as required by law.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Higgs TTS is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; that outputs will be accurate, unique, original, legal, non-infringing, or suitable for your intended use; or that any feature, price, provider, mode, or model variant will remain available.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Higgs TTS, its owners, operators, employees, contractors, providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Higgs TTS for the service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the claim arose, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the date above, post a notice on the website, or use another reasonable method. Your continued use of Higgs TTS after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
